Wie sich das Risiko von Spannungsrissen in PBT-umspritzten Metallteilen reduzieren lässt
Metall und PBT sind ideale Partner für umspritze Metallleiterbahnen, wie sie im Antriebsstrang von Elektrofahrzeugen zu finden sind. Für Ingenieure stellen jedoch häufige und abrupte Temperaturschwankungen diese „Materialpartnerschaft“ auf die Probe. Es können Spannungsrisse entstehen, die zu Defekten ganzer Baugruppen führen. PBT-Materialien mit hoher Bruchdehnung, Hydrolysebeständigkeit und Wärmebeständigkeit aus unserem Pocan® XHR-Sortiment ermöglichen Ihnenum dieses Risiko zu minimieren. Dies wird durch den Montagerahmen für ein Kupplungsgetriebe veranschaulicht.
New PBT from Envalior, debuting at K 2025 & the Battery Show North America, sets standard for high-voltage applications
Envalior has introduced Pocan® BFN4232ZHR S1, a halogen-free flame-retardant PBT that combines the strengths of PBT and polyamide 6/66. It offers dimensional stability, low electro-corrosion, and strong electrical insulation at high temperatures, along with hydrolysis resistance, creep resistance, and at break comparable to polyamide.
Envalior showcases electrolyte additive & plastic solutions at the European Battery Show
Envalior, a leading manufacturer of high-performance plastics, will showcase electrolyte additive and plastic solutions that significantly improve the safety, performance and lifespan of electric vehicle (EV) batteries and associated electronics at its stand, B05 (Hall 9), at the Battery Show Europe. Europe's largest trade fair and conference for battery manufacturing and technology will take place at Messe Stuttgart from June 3 to 5, 2025.
Envalior showcases sustainable materials at “Plastics in E&E Applications” SKZ conference
Envalior, a global leader in engineering materials, will showcase sustainable thermoplastics, along with a new halogen-free flame-retardant PBT at Booth #1 during the “Fuse Box Meets Dryer – Plastics in E&E Applications” conference organized by the South German Plastics Center (SKZ). The conference, which focuses on material innovations for global trends, including electromobility, autonomous driving, 5G mobile communications, and more, will be held May 14 - 15, 2025, at the Vogel Convention Center in Würzburg, Germany.
