Envalior announces price increase for Caprolactam, Akulon® and Durethan® PA6 Base Resins, PA6 Film & Extrusion & PA6 Copolymer Grades

Düsseldorf, March 25, 2026 – Envalior today announced price increases for Caprolactam, Akulon^® and Durethan^® PA6 Base Resins, as well as PA6 Film & Extrusion and PA6 Copolymer grades across Europe, the Middle East & Africa, and the Americas.

The decision follows recent geopolitical developments that have significantly impacted the cost of upstream products and energy. In recent weeks, Envalior has observed a sharp and unexpected deterioration in the supply and pricing of key raw materials. This rapid market shift has resulted in substantial and immediate cost increases across both raw material inputs and energy.

Despite ongoing internal efforts to stabilize costs and mitigate market volatility, Envalior is no longer able to absorb these significant increases.

As a result, the company will implement a price increase of + €550/t (+ US$640/t), effective immediately, or as contract terms permit.

Further adjustments may be necessary for specific materials, depending on individual product requirements and evolving market conditions.
