Peter Henrichfreise

EVP INTERMEDIATES

Peter Henrichfreise became Head of Direct Material within Global Procurement and Logistics in February 2018. In his role he was responsible for global procurement for strategic sourcing of raw materials, packaging materials, tolling & trading goods of the LANXESS group.

Peter started his career as process engineer at Elf Atochem in 1995 and first joined LANXESS (formerly Bayer) in 1999. He took over several leading positions within Bayer and LANXESS with focus on hazardous chemical operations of world scale assets and its related business functions.

Key milestones of his career have been General Manager of DuBay Polymer GmbH (PBT production JV wit DuPont), Head of Business Line Adipic Acid at Business Unit High Performance Materials and Head of Business Line Polyols and Oxidation Products at Business Unit Advanced Industrial Intermediates.
