Sascha Fehlemann

EVP LEGAL & COMPLIANCE

In this role he will be responsible for managing the legal & compliance function across the group, including governance. The role has a global scope and will be based in Dusseldorf (GER). As the General Counsel he will report to the CEO of Envalior.

Sascha, a German/Italian national, joins Envalior from the international listed energy company Uniper SE, where he was SVP Corporate & Renewables Legal. He started his career in 2008 as an M&A lawyer in an international law firm, before joining E.ON in 2010 where he worked in different legal teams on corporate and commercial matters.

When E.ON spun off its power and gas business to form the new company Uniper in January 2016, Sascha built up Uniper’s corporate legal team which was responsible for the listing of the company at the Frankfurt Stock Exchange as well as for setting up relevant legal processes and corporate governance for the newly established company. At Uniper, Sascha held various management positions in the Legal & Compliance function.

Next to his broad experience on corporate and governance matters, Sascha brings significant expertise in advising the business on commercial contracts and projects.
