“This is a very exciting day for Envalior and our entire team in Evansville,” said David Miller, site director at  Envalior. “Since construction began the same time we began to confront the realities of COVID-19, the progress we’re celebrating would not be possible without an incredible commitment to safety shown by our employees and contractors throughout the process.”

“I’d like to personally congratulate the Evansville team as they celebrate this huge step forward,” said Shruti Singhal, president of Envalior. “Your commitment to safety and our customers is a wonderful example of the perseverance everyone has shown throughout this pandemic.”

To address growing demand for Envalior’s advanced materials in the Americas region, the plant modernization project includes many enhancements designed to upgrade the plant’s efficiency and safety, including:

  • Raw material feeding systems
  • Automatic strand pelletizers
  • Automated packaging systems

The construction phase of the modernization project is expected to be completed by the end of 2021.
