With less than two months away from Envalior’s Advanced Materials Forum (AMF) Europe on Tuesday, May 18, 2021, we are very excited to offer you the opportunity to attend this 100% free online event.
AMF Europe will gather the brightest minds from the materials science communities to give you the latest application insights and trends in electrification and automotive, powertrain, gears, water and food contact, and medical. You will also learn about best practices in the industry, including the latest innovations and advancements in sustainability.
The beauty of AMF Europe is that you can access the event from your home-office computer or anywhere there is a WIFI connection. AMF Europe is not only easily accessible, it is sustainable too—no air travel or hotel accommodations to offset, nor any plastic cups or silver wear to throw away after the event.
The online event features education-building resources, including sessions targeting three tracks: Applications, Sustainability and Science. You can choose to attend sessions from different tracks, or pick out one of these specific tracks to attend:
Applications: During the event there will be sessions focusing on Electrification in Automotive, Gears, Charging Plugs, Medical, and Water and Food Contact. Learn about leveraging materials without flame retardant additives; the latest insights and trends in food and water contact applications; materials solutions used in the medical field; and the most innovative applications for fuel cells. Plus, a guest speaker from IHS will discuss the latest in powertrain trends.
Sustainability: Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about the innovations in sustainability initiatives, such as an update on Envalior’s sustainable trajectory. The sustainability team looks at the entire life cycle approach (LCA) and knows the finer points of our materials. Also, learn how we work with customers to help them on their own sustainable journey via our Bright Science and Brighter Living four-pillar approach.
Science: Learn about Team Envalior, a German-licensed global professional cycling team operating at the highest level of cycling, with a unique scientific and innovative focus, which is ideally implemented through a culture of true cooperation. Envalior’s science-based innovation and expertise have been applied inside and out to help the athletes reach the highest standards of performance.
There will also be a session about performance and design considerations of Envalior Advanced Thermoplastic Composites, and tests will be shown, including low flash, plus a Micro CT scan.
Senior engineering and design leaders in Europe seeking to improve automotive, powertrain, gears, water and food contact, and medical applications through material science innovation are encouraged to attend AMF Europe. Engineers and designers looking to learn about innovative materials solutions that can be applied to applications in the above-mentioned industry sectors are also welcomed to attend this virtual forum.

Giorgio Coppolino is regional commercial director for Europe at Envalior. He has held several leadership positions within Marketing & Sales at both Envalior and Nexeo Solutions. Prior to these roles, he worked as a scientist at Envalior Research on performance of polymers for different applications, including automotive, E&E and packaging. Coppolino holds a master’s of science in material engineering obtained at Universities of Messina and Palermo, Italy.
