With unprecedented raw materials increases in the PA6 value chain and steep rises of utility and energy costs, Envalior needs to increase the price for its Akulon® polyamide 6 polymer and compound grades in Europe and South America.

• Akulon® polymer prices will increase with 350 Eur/t
• Akulon® compound prices will increase with 250 Eur/t

This increase will be effective on October 1^st, where contracts and agreements allow.

For Akulon® compounds the abovementioned price increase is on top of the increases for other raw materials such as glass fibers and flame retardants.

While Envalior continues to pursue and implement cost saving initiatives, this increase is necessary to ensure Envalior’s sustainable long-term position as leading supplier of engineering plastics.
